Small changes that make a tape look expensive.

• Light your face, not the wall

  Put your key light slightly above eye level and face it. A window at midday works beautifully.

• Frame chest-up, eyes on the top third

  Leave a little headroom, keep the lens at eye height, and stay centred so casting reads your face.

• Get the mic close, kill the room

  Record in a soft room — rugs, curtains, a closed door. Clean audio beats an expensive camera.

• Rehearse with the AI reader first
